Default Attempting to get in to track days

I need a little help as far as tuning my bike. I am not sure what performance mods I should be putting on it for track days. Just recently ive had the urge to hit the track, just a tad unsure of how to get optimal perforance out my bike.

But i want to do it all myself as well and not pay somebody an assload of money.

Any advice/help from experienced riders would awesome.

You don't really needs any mods other than some decent tires. I've run B'stone BT 003RS for the last two seasons. After that the sky is the limit. I'd go with suspension and brakes after that.
