2006 Yamaha R1 Top Speed 180mph??

I had gotten a GoPro camera a while back and decided to take the bike out a little bit ago to see what i could get the top speed up to. Seems my bike will only go 180mph and it looks as if there is a bit more rpm to go as well...

Anyone have and or know of a good setup to get up and over 200mph or higher?

Your factory speedo set up thats showing 180 MPH is off from the factory by about 6.0% so you are at about 169 MPH! The factory bikes are governed to 186 MPH! showing! So it would need a reflashed computor and some other electrical mods to get it above that.

Get a Busa. That will get you closer to 200. Otherwise look into a turbo/NOS.
