Question '09 YZ450F Case

I had my chain break and rip a huge whole in my case so I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not I could just buy the one side or not?

you know case saver? A piece that goes between your case and the chain so that big hole doesnt happen. They are worth it and cheap.

Sweet! Yes I had the stock case saver on there. What happened was I was racing a National Hare and Hound race out here and hit a rock with my rear sprocket at about 4rth gear tapped so it broke my chain and ripped the case saver right off. It was just a freak deal.

That is definately a freak accident. But I would go ahead and get and aftermarket case saver. they are a lot thicker than the stock case saver. As you can see the stock one didnt save your case.

Do you think that I should get one of those T.M's or go with a metal one? Would you know of a good place to get one?

I am not sure how T.M. will hold up. I am sure fine. I think the plastic wil take a lot of the impact of the chain unlike the metal ones that just stop it from hitting the case. I would say any would do and you can get them anywhere. they are all about the same price. Ebay might have a cheap one.
