Hello everyone, I'm new to owning and riding. Purchased a 2003 YZ 125 and bought the essential gear (helmet, chest protector, boots). I was riding around a little over the weekend and noticed it is difficult to get my boot under the shifter to shift up. Is there an adjustment to bring the resting height up higher? If not do they make aftermarket shifters that compensate for larger boots?

on top of your shifter at the shaft there will be a bolt... take that out, slide the shifter off, turn it so it is in a better spot to get under it, push it back on the shaft, install bolt... done
