Default oil????

what kind of oil should i use in my yfz??? will sythetic hurt the clutch???

I use full synthetic on my street bike and if I'm not wrong, that's the only way to go.

I use Spectro Golden 4 Semi-Synthetic 10w-40 on my 700. As long as it's made for a wet clutch system, you should be GTG. Amsoil has also done a lot of testing and has proven themselves as a reputable oil manufacturer. It's all personal pref. Just remember to use wet-clutch.

I have always used AMSOIL in my YFZ. Never had a problem and I love it.

not another Oil thread the YFZ will work with any modern oil with no clutch damage as long as you select the correct grade ... there is a case that Walmart ( is that the correct name?) value Oil will work fine as long as the basic oil spec is observed. totally up to you on what you use .. I gave up arguing oils 30 years ago ... but I love adding some sound bites to oil threads !
