2003 WR 250F Carb Question
I just bought an 03 wr250f with reportedly under 300 miles on it. The seller had taken it on trade a yr ago and never rode it - looks to be in great shape -the seller was a gear head and tinkerer. He replaced the stock carb with an 06 YZ carb (just because he had one laying around). Anyway - with a quick twist of the throttle the bike sort of has a flat spot and then revs up - with a smoother roll on of the throttle the bike revs up no problem - I'm thinking it might be a jetting issue?
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance - this is my first bike in a long long time, so any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. |

If plug is brownish after engine kill test at WOT jet is good. Then try adjusting mid range with needle clip.
