Default XS 400 vs. XS 650

I am brand new to this forum today! I just picked up a 1980 XS400 for a project Cafe Racer. Almost all of the aftermarket products feature parts for the Honda CB line and the Yamaha XS 650. Are there major differences in the frame and swing arm so that I might buy bolt on products for the XS 650 to fit on the XS400? Any other problems I should consider before moving forward? I could just restore it to stock and flip it to buy the project I really want.

Thanks for any help.
