Welcome to YF! Here is what i found.

depending on the year of any bike it can be in several locations.
Most older bikes have the VIN located on the neck of the frame right behind the front number plate.

Newer bikes have them on the right side of the frame rear the radiator with a sticker placed by the dealer, if this bike has this sticker it may also be stamped into the neck of the frame, manufacturers will do this incase the sticker is missing the frame will still have a VIN.

Have you checked in those areas?

Aftermarket frame? Numbers ground off? They have to be somewhere. Do you have the title? Stupid question but it should have the VIN on it.

Maybe the number was taken off and the bike is stolen? I dont know. All i do know is the bike should have a number on the frame. Something isnt right with it not haveing a VIN number.

Maybe? Juat use a tape measure and use millimeters. Maybe that is why the tranny is different. They might have upgraded the tranny because it is bored out. My bike is bored out and have had problems with my tranny because it cant handle the stress.
