650 Dragstar Earth Fault
Hello all,
I keep popping the main 30A fuse when the battery -ve is connected.
The bike was running then stopped dead, couldn't get an oil light or anything, the rectifier cable was inspected and cores un-taped and separated and the oil and neutral lights came back. It was live until I tried a start then the fuse popped again and had nothing since.
What should the output impedance of the Rectifier Regulator be as I measure short measuring out from the battery cables when disconnected from the battery?
I suspect it's blown but don't know if I should be chasing an earth?
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
