New XJ 550 Seca Owner
I just wanted to introduce myself and my new (old) bike. I'm an accidential Yamaha owner who happened upon the bike while looking at a VT700 Shadow. My current ride is a 1983 VF 500 Shadow as I am a fairly new biker (actually returning after a long hiatus). The seller made me a deal too good to pass up ($50) and now I'm more excited about this bike than the Shadow.
Unfortunately, the bike hasn't been operational since 1987 so it will be awhile before I am able to to take it to the streets and show off my classic bike. It may not run yet but it is pretty photogenic so I can show it off to you all here on the forum. I will try posting them shortly as soon as I can figure out how to do it. Anyway, I look forward to everyone's tips and insight. |
