xj650 Yamaha

Im new with the forum and I just got an xj650 yamaha . Love to ride and this will be my # 2 bike or everyday. I have some work to do on it but I do like a challenge. BUT as I said it is a xj650 but in the manual thier is a letter behind the 650 as in g,h,j,k,lh or rl !! how do I tell whitch one I have ??
