Hello my name is Jeff, Haughton, LA by Shreveport

I have been around bikes a long time and been a Yamaha fan since the begining pretty much. For the majority of the time was dirt bikes and quads. I worked as a Yamaha dealer mech for 3 yrs 1999-2003. I am in the USAF since 1997 and am currently in Saidu Arabia. I will return home feb'ish 2012 and will be in the market for a street bike it's been a long time since my last one.

I have been trying to work out getting a MT-01 from Canada but it seems like it going to more of hassel than I want to deal with (might be my local DMV/trooper office causing the problems) So now I am leaning towards FZ8 or if I can find a decent deal on a used gen2 Vmax. Well I will stop rambling now

Oh If anyone knows the details of importing a bike from Canada i am all ears

Welcome to YF. I heard it is a pain in the ass to get a bike from Canada.
