What do I check to make sure the spark is strong enough? I pulled the plugs and leaned it against the block and cranked the engine. There is spark but it is weak. It was running great last week! Does the stator have something to do with it? If so where is the stator? I even installed a primer pump to alleviate having to prime it each time it was cold. Now I am not getting a good spark. The engine turns over but wont start or even sound like it is about to start. Sounds like the gas is not igniting. Any suggestions???? Thanks! JRR

Hmm yea the lightning coil in your stator helps send out the spark pulse for your plugs. Also believe it or not you might buy some NGK plug caps, cut the stock wires at the stock caps and screw on your ngk plug caps.
Im betting this is the problem. It happens alot with old stock wires. Feel free to call John at Jet Ski Solutions. Send him your coil and he can put new wires and new MSD plug caps. Done deal your coil will be better than new. I send all my coils to him before the wires go bad. [Only registered can see links. ]
