Hello everyone,
I need some help if you can.I have a 2001 gp800r i have just rebuild carbs( Pro did It)now i can get it to start if i prime the cylinders it will fire the after a few times of that it will take from the tank ,i also resealed the reeds ,thinking there was an air leak there but still cant get it to fire after about 30 minutes of sitting. Is there something with the fuel tank that is not holding pressure? The best way for me to explain it is seems like its losing prime .Compression is good 118 on both.I am really lost here so any info you can give is a help |

Have you done any modifications to the intake or the carbs? Removed the stock flame arrestor?? It does sound like your carb pop off pressure is to high and your pulse line pressure isnt opening up your needle to let more fuel in after your ski sits. I have the same problem with my B2, but since I have a primer, I just hit it a few times and take off.
