Default No Power to anything!

I have a 1998 GP800 that I just did a top end overhaul on. Upon trying to start it up, I was getting no spark from either spark plug. I thus went into the elect box at the rear and tested all coils. All were in parameters per the yamaha maint manual. I pulled the cdi out and did some tests on this per the manual with my meter. Now when all is connected together and the battery is connected, I cannot get anything to power up. No instruments, no lock code, no starter, NOTHING! The battery is new and has a fresh charge on it. The single fuse in the box indicates ok.
.
Let me know what you think. Thanks for your advice,
.

Just curious if you heard from anyone on this thread? We are having the same issue with our 1998 XL760. We were riding and got a volt warning, so we headed to shore. On the way in the meter reset several times, but each time it came back on it had the volt warning. When we got to the dock and shut it down, it wouldn't start. Everything is dead. We checked the battery and even charged it for a few hours even though it was fine and tested everything else and all looks good. Just can't get power to anything at all. If anyone has any suggestions that might help it would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem with my Seadoo. I believe I found a bad ground...it all powers up and does crank now. It was at the NEG cable at the starter. It seemed that the PO had put some silicone on the connection and it prevented a good ground all the time.
Hope this helps.
