Hey guys, I'm new to the form, thanks for having me
I just bought a new 2007 Yamaha WaveRunner FX High Output. After taking it in to have the "break-in oil" changed at 20 hours of use it now stalls frequently. It will stall out about 1-3 times during a 20 minute ride. It then starts back up immediately, then runs like a champ again. I tried riding at 30mph in a calm creek to see if maybe it was the rough riding/turning/jumping waves was doing it. But it stalled out then when riding slow too. The lanyard is secure. The fuel tank is full. I checked the oil Level and it's about a half and inch below the "full" mark. (It's recommended to be anywhere between the minimum and max level marks.) I guess I'll have to take it back to the place I bought it from, which is kind of far from where I live. So I was hoping to get some Ideas here first. Thanks a lot for any suggestions! Tony |

I myself am also new to this forum, and proud owner of a 1996 wave venture 1100 triple. I have a similar issue. The ski bogs out and stalls after riding her a bit. After stopping the engine and then retaking off within a few minutes, if I give it 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, the ski will bog out and stall like it's fouling out. However if I feather the throttle, the ski will resume operation and run very good. The ski is all stock with 193 hrs on meter. Looking for some good maintenance tips above just changing plugs. Thank you.
