1982 XJ750J valve cover leak

I am working on my Maxim XJ750J bike, and have an issue with the new valve cover gasket. My bike had a slow oil leak from the valve cover, so I decided to work on it while I had my fuel tank repaired. I pulled off the valve cover and replaced the valve cover gasket with a Yamaha gasket #5G2-11193-00-00 I bought. The new gasket does not cover two oil gallery holes on the head. I called a few Yamaha dealers and they told me that was the only gasket shown. I called the supplier I got my first gasket from, so they sent me another one and this gasket is the as the first one. I know it will leak oil because I have already fired it up and oil is now streaming from those two holes. These two holes are at the back of the head and the valve cover has flat spots on it where these holes are to block them off, but with no gasket or seal there, it leaks badly. I need to know if there is anybody that has had this problem, and has a solution for this or some sort of plug or seal I can use to put in there so I can prevent another bad leak. My old gasket had some material there to cover those holes, but the old gasket is dried up and cracked. Please help me to resolve this situation, it is bike riding time and I want to ride!!
