I have a 1980 Maxim 650 that was runnin a little rough.
it wouldn't idle too well, and had some hesitation when twistin the throttle. I took the carbs off and spread through them with some carb cleaner. I took the bottom part off (where the floater and everything is) and cleaned that all out. Didn't really go into depth on anything, just basically givin it a little bit of a rinse. I let it dry a little bit, and then I stuck it back on the bike, hooked everything back up, and now the bike won't start. I am 100% positive i didn't lose any pieces out of the carb, so I'm clueless as to what I may have done that it won't start now. Any tips on what to look for, because it seems pretty obvious i'll have to take the carbs back off and try and figure it out. |

No spark at all? not even a little pop or back fire?
