Default '80 Maxim 650 intake problem

Hey I have a 1980 maxim i just recently got, and i've been goin over the bike while waiting on a few parts, and found that the rubber tubes between the air filter box and the carbs doesn't want to go onto the carbs. 2 of them are attached, but no matter how much i push on em or move em around the other two won't go on all the way.
wonderin if anyone else has had this problem and a good fix for it.

part #13 on this picture.

I had the same problem on my 400 finally I turned them around and they fit but mine are straight yours seem like they have a slight curve. try putting them in hot water to soften and stretch them a little.
