Default 1985 Maxim 700

I have a 1985 XJ 700 Maxim in pristine condition. What is it worth? I don't use it much and keep it in an AC'd garage...thinking about selling it to someone that would appreciate it

$1200 at best but some would pay more seeing it is a vintage bike

Default What's considered Vintage?

Is there a standard used in North America to define Vintage, Classic, etc.?

I just put my '83 maxim on the road and it sounds as though the value just went up

I take Kelly blue book to be undervalued for example last year an 82 Maxim 400 was over $800 this year they value it at $750 in excellent condition. I believe it is a bogus price as a value for trade in but not a real price of vintage/classic motorcycle. [Only registered can see links. ]

but then here the value of a 82 Maxim 400 is $1340 for excellent [Only registered can see links. ]

these prices tell me the parts of a maxim 400 on Ebay are over priced because I spent over $1000 in parts so I can never get my money back to sell it at these estimated values.

The 82 maxim 750 is undervalued too at $1020 this year.

and a 82 maxim 750 is $1875 for excellent [Only registered can see links. ]
