Default VIN number

I just bought a 90's model Timberwolf 250 and I was wondering if anyone would know where I should look to find the VIN number. I have the motor number but trying to order any parts is hard without knowing the actual year. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Vin numbers will ushually be on the side of the lower frame rail near your foot peg. Just get down on the ground and look it should be very easy to spot.

Default Searched the world over

Hey thanks for the info, I was down on the ground with a lite a 1/4'" away and still didnt see it. Im guessing it has been ground off. Im still looking everytime I mess with it. The funny thing is mine is yellow and someone told me they never made a yellow 250 Timberwolf unless it was a special edition of some kind. Any thoughts?

Plastics could have been changed at any time to nearly any color. Happens all the time. Grinding the vin numbers is ushually a strait up stollen bike but also look through the front end on the frame near your shocks. I've seen it put there by most other makes.

Default Found it

Thanks for the info as it helped. Got down on the garage floor Saturday evening and looked for it. It had been painted over and little sandpaper I was able to get it. Makes it easier when I need to look something up for it. Thanks
