TTR50 Cold Start - Yamaha Forums

day_timer_01 Join Date: May 2011 Posts: 5 Thanks: 1 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	TTR50 Cold Start I have a 2008 TTR50 with larger jets and a gytr air filter. My son doesn't run it hard at all, 2nd gear all the time at low speeds. When I first start it it takes 10-15 min. before you can rev it up or it will die. After the first 15 min. it runs fine, but let it set for a couple hours you have to let it set running for another 15 min. to warm up. Not sure if it I need to go back to the original jets and filter, he's loading it up running so low rpms, or if it needs a new cylinder. Thanks for the help.
