Just wondering, do you have to put filter oil on this filter. It is exposed, no box for it. Being exposed I would think if I put oil on it, it would get pretty dirty quickly. Thanks

No, they do not require oil to be put on them. Only foam filters require oil. I do recommend getting a pre-filter for it to get the small particles. What is the filter going on?

Definately get a pre-filter if you are going with the GYTR. If you havnt bought a filter yet I would go with a foam filter. It really depends on the conditions of the riding. If it gets dusty foam is the way to go.
