I've owned motorcycles since 1970 and have never blocked one up off the floor. I live in the high desert of Nevada so our winters can sometimes be pretty severe. They last from around November to May. I've never had any problems with the tires.

I have been riding for years and just in the last 4 years started pulling the bike up on some wood. The wood will take the cup so the tires dont get a flat spot.
