Not yet I'm not. The way the economy is going, it's a far reach but hopefully when Adam wins the Lottery he'll get me the R1 he promised

r1 is a great bike bt, i am looking for BMW S1000RR. i like its style and performance and i think it would be perfect for me here are some details;BMW is the name that needs no definition. They are the producers of high quality bikes. They have always focused on their quality and customer satisfaction. BMW officially launched its Superbike ‘S 1000 RR’ in 2010. Their bikes are known for power, luxury and performance. motorcycle helmets as add on, enhances the riding experience.

This bike features ABS and traction control system as BMW has emphasized on its safety as well. This bike can be easily identified by its twin headlights that are differently designed from each other. The water-cooled four-cylinder engine is a power house and produces 193 hp @ 13,000 RPM, 112 nm of torque at 9,750 RPM, weights 204kg. It costs about 13,800 US $. Bell helmets should also be purchased additionally.

The meters look very innovative. LCD screen shows speed and is adjustable in brightness. The bike is available in different colors like classy mineral silver metallic, acid green metallic or black metallic.

The bike is bundled with a lot of new technology. Bike’s technology helps it to drive it in any type of weather. The engine is very responsive and aggressive on throttle. It takes you to the deep zooms of speed. BMW S 1000 RR is also the lightest bike in ABS category. Bike is also great on aerodynamics. It is simply a symbol of world class performance. Plus joe rocket jackets make it more comfortable.

I know that the Beemer is a popular bike right now but I'm not a huge fan of German engineering so that one is out of the question. Since the 1000 did so well, word is that they might be releasing a 600 version as well but that's not in the immediate future.
I'm leaning towards getting the r1 and finishing up the Yamaha family before moving up to Ducati and spending a small fortune on their lineups. Hopefully Santa will be nice to me this year and help me out with my dream
