Default Sport Bike - Am I tall enough to handle ?

I have been thinking about buying a sport bike I have been looking at an r6 but the one thing I am worried about is I am 5'4 and about 130 pounds I dont know if I could properly reach the ground. I know you can have the seat trimmed or the bike lowered but in general what should I do ?

Your best bet is to go and sit on the one you are looking at. On my bikes I'm generally on my toes at the lights. My '09 r6 sits higher than the '07 for some reason, but it's all about what you are comfortable with.

I would keep it stock height. I've read that the bike doesn't handle the same when people lower it. Are you looking to buy a new bike or a used one?
