Well I've gotta warrior right now and I really need an upgrade. I was really looking for a yfz or a raptor and basically ruled out the shee because of the rebuilding. I seen a great looking banshee for sale and I have now changed my mind lol. It's red and black in great condition. Might just trade my warrior for it and pay a little extra. Does anybody here have a shee? Do you like it? How often do you rebuild? My dad thinks it's a bad idea because of the rebuilding and fouling plugs and what not. I figured the newer pingers would be way better on that kind of stuff that his tri-z is but he makes up his mind and doesn't change it. Should I do it or wait for a 450?????:dunno:

You need to go with the YFZ!! Trust me! The raptors run good but the performance of the YFZ you cant beat! I would not get any other bike!

It's all going to depend on what type of riding you do. If you do MX, trails or woods riding I'd stay towards the yfz. But if you do mostly dune riding or drag racing the Banshee may be your best bet. Depending on your riding style you'll either love or hate a banshee. I wouldn't say they need to be rebuilt any more often than todays hi performance 450's and shouldn't ever foul plugs if you have it jetted correctly and use the right type and amount of pre-mix oil.

Hi, Premix that takes me back to the 70's I guess then modern quads still use premix rather than an autolube pump (if they are 2 stroke) Regards Jim

The banshee has always been pre-mix, yamaha made very few changes on them from 87-2006. The blasters on the other hand had an injector system, which was prone to failure and is a common mod to eliminate it and go to pre-mix
