Putting this bike back together basically from scratch. got almost everything in and thought i better check spark. no spark. took stator cover off and flywheel and eveything are cover in rust. cleaned the contact services and pick up coil as lightly as possible. ohmned the primary and secondary windings and they ohmned to spec. the i got to wondering of the tors eliminator hook up was effecting it. was wondering if all i had to do to eliminate was just unplug ut from the system. if someone had a lil bit of info i would appreciate it. id hate to just go out and by a stator.

Throttle cable (1 into 2)
2 Carb Caps with brass adjusters and lock nuts 2 Rubber dust boots for the carb cap adjustors 2 idle screws 2 locknuts #6 drill bit 6mm X .75mm tap Vito's, Toomey, RMATV all carry the kits to do this They are all priced relatively the same but Vito's seems to have better instructions if you have never done anything like it before [Only registered can see links. ] |
