98 700 srx backfiring threw carbs bad

hello this is my first post here i just got this sled already cleaned carbs and all the easy things to look for it will run good for 1 or 2 minutes then just starts bacckfiring threw the carbs all three untill it stalls out any ideas thanks.

I had the same problem. found out the power valves were siezed and had broken the cables. Cables are cheap. and someone on here rebuilds the valves. he does a great job. i put them in mine and it has run great ever since
