Default Can I switch carbs on my Phazer?

I just bought a 2000 Phazer sled and found out later the seller had switched carbs on it before he sold it to me. He put on 1997 Phazer carbs which are slightly different and needless to say the sled will not run. It idles out smooth but kills when you give it the gas. Are these compatible carbs? Or do I need to replace them? Thanks for the help.

youll have to rejet the 97 carbs to that engine, 97's were 485 engines, 2000 are 500 engines!!! it be cheaper to rejet, might take awhile to get it right but lots cheaper
