I had just recently picked up a 2001 srx 700 power valve triple. Everything is in mint shape. It starts up nicely and will idle fine for about 10 seconds. Then the lights starts to flicker and and sounds like it is about to cut out. But when i go to give it gas it sounds like its misfiring. And it has a hard time moving. I have to get off and push it then it will go but it will go slow. Slow as in 10 km MAX.
What i think is wrong with it is the fact it has Fuel stabilizer in it and it says you have to run it with High test gasoline. Second i think the spark plugs are done. and so i'm getting fresh ones today and will put them on. But i want to know if you guys have any other opinions on the matter? |

power valves dirty or plugs miss firing. get it running and feel all three exhaust pipes and make sure they are geting hot....if you have a cold pipe replace that plug and try it
