I've always been a fan of full syn but since it's more expensive most people don't opt to go that way. Just remember (hopefully not just a myth) but if you go to full synthetic you can't switch back to regular oil.

You can go back.... just wouldn't be any good. The reason is, full synthetic coats your engine to protect it and has no contaminants like conventional oil does. Once you put conventional back in after running synthetic, those contaminants eat up any layer of protection that may have been left behind by the synthetic.

Your engine will run better and longer on full synthetic!

On that note, AMSOIL has been around for a long time. In fact they were the first in synthetics and have been perfecting their products longer than other companies have been around. It's what I use in everything I own.

Let me know if I can help any!

Good luck and take care

That's not a BIG difference. How much oil do you need for your scooter? Personally, I'd rather pay the couple extra pounds and go with the best stuff than save the money and get something so-so. Don't get me wrong, getting semi-synthetic is better than regular oil but why not spend the extra few pounds and be happy?
I mean it's not like you are changing your oil weekly right?

Well as a 2 stroke burns the oil with its fuel you don't need to do oil changes you need to top up the tank when it gets low ... but I'm with you have a good 2 stroke oil but perhaps there is no need to buy the real expensive stuff as unbranded oil of that grade may work just the same ... to the point if there is any evidence that brand A is better than brand B I would use A ... Oil companies don't tend to give hard facts just hype
