I have always had a over chest protector. But some of my budies i ride with wear the under ones, and i dont see how they could, cuz i would think you would sweat. It would also think they would be unconfortable.

Deffinatly under. I don't use one very often anyway though. I don't like the way the feel but it sure does hurt when I get a roost full of rocks thrown at me.

I am not a fan of the under protectors. They are too small for my comfort. I like more protection so if my quad wants to roll over on me.

I wish I had one when my bike decided to brake a couple ribs when it went over on me.

OUCH! I feel ya! I broke 2 ribs and my sternum, with a chest protector on. Nothing hurts more than injured ribs and they take forever to heal.

No joke dude. It's just a big pain in the butt. How did the sturnum feel? I bet that one would hurt way worse than ribs.

Hurts! It still makes cracking noises when I stretch every now and then. The worse was having to sneeze. Almost would bring me to tears!
