Default sprocket

need a new front sprocket for my yz ive heard that i should change everything at the same time but the rear sprockets fine and so is the chain is it ok to just throw on the new sprocket and ride or will it cause some damage

You can get away with just changing 1 sprocket as long as everything else is good... Is it ideal?... no. But I switch sprockets alot depending on where I am riding at the time, be it front or rear, and haven't had any problems. If you are particular with your maintenance, and check stuff alot you can get away with it but if you are the type to throw the part on and forget it until you need to change it again, I would replace both sprockets and the chain... $80 for the parts is alot cheaper than new cases

i changed everything out after thinking about it im probably going to keep this bike for awhile and didnt want old parts with new parts thanks for your input
