Default spark arrestor what is it?

i was searching around and i found that u can take out the spark arrestor. first of all what is that? second is it something you can take out and it will make your quad run better, more power or what.

It is a screen you put in the end of your exhaust. It cuts down on noise and it is supposed to defuse flames comming out of the exhaust from what I heard. Its cuts down on performance a hair but probably cant tell the difference. I dont run one on my bike.

I knew i was on the right track. Here is what Wiki says....
A spark arrestor is a device intended to prevent combustible materials, usually sparks or other tiny flaming debris, from escaping into areas where they might start fires.

They are most commonly used in conjunction with motor vehicles (inserted into the muffler), as well as improving safety within fireplaces, and various electrical equipment. Often, a spark arrestor mimics a net fashioned from tightly interwoven wire gauze built to resist bits of ash, sparks or other such dangers.

ok. nevermind lol. just leave it in then. i was wonder do u know anyone that has a used white brothers exhaust for sale i heared they are the best for warriors. i dont want to buy brand new. i bought all brand new stuff for my motorcycle and i sold it and i lost my butt on it. so used is better.
