Default How do you clean your ride?

I wait till theres a storm coming then I pull mine out of the garage and let nature do the rest... joking. I usually do it the old fashioned way with a bucket, hose, car wash soap, rags then use some polish.
Anything special you use or do to keep your ride clean?

In the summer it was religiously cleaned every morning before I went into work.

Ingredients for my wash:
-Jagermeister bucket
-Warm water
-2 microfibers cloths
-1 to wash
-1 to dry

Now that it's getting nipply outside, it just sits and waits for the spring

I used Simple Green Max straight in a spray bottle, let it sit for a few min and spray off. Works perfect! Unfortunately they stopped making the Max because it was so good and split it up into a bunch of other cleaners. So I have to find a new product to clean my bike.

Doesn't simple green eat up your paint or at least clear coat?
Not that you off road guys care, but that's what I've always heard

No we do care. Simple green max is safe on paint. Its biodegradable and nontoxic. Safe enough to drink. I have wash my truck with it and even used it as soap in the woods. LOL I used to swear by it!

Only the greatest thing invented by man! LOL It is an automotive degreaser/cleaner. A company called simple green makes it. now simple green makes a bike wash that they made from the max. i might start using that.

No kidding. I didn't know that, I had heard a while back that it wasn't good for the paint so I kept it away from my bike. But I guess since you've tried and have no problems, I'll be using it on my wheels to get all the chain lube sling off
