can anyone tell me if a 2005 yamaha yz fule tank would fit a yamaha yz250?

Hello George and welcome to YF! I am not really understanding your question. From the way I read, I would think the gas tank of a yamaha YZ would fit a YZ250. Is the gas tank off of a 2005 YZ450 or 125 and you are trying to put it on a 250?

The older ones fit the same. After 2001 im not sure if they fit eachother but before that they did.

Hey George, I think that it'll fit because I know for fact that an aftermarket IMS tank will fit both the 125 and 250's for that same year.
