Default 1995 YZ125 for woods?

I just picked up a 1995 Yamaha YZ125 with full pro circuit suspension, pro circuit exhaust system, new tires, 14 tooth front sprocket and I am not sure on the rear. Fresh Wiesco top end, and renthal bars. The bike is in great shape. Do you think this bike would be good for trails? I have heard many mixed opinions but no reasons why or why not. I am looking at going with a 13 tooth sprocket up front and a 51-52 tooth in the rear for more torque. The bike is a 6 speed so I am not worried about losing a little top end on the gearing since the extra gear should easily cover that. Right now the bike is set up mainly for top end and will keep up with 250's. Could someone tell my what they think about it for a woods bike (with a change in sprockets) and why or why not? I will mainly be riding in softer dirt, sometimes mud, in heavily wooded areas. No huge hills but there are many tight turns. Thanks
