Default 2010 Yamaha FZ8

That was the headline on an Australian Motorcycle News!

According to the magazine it is reportedly going to be a 750cc naked, carrying the name FZ8.

Yamaha has filed a trademark application for the name FZ8...according to AMCN.

The magazine suggests a 2010 launch is possible, but more likely, it's to be a 2011 launch.

Yamaha already has a coming soon page: [Only registered can see links. ]

Interesting. Personally I'd love for them to bring back the R7. As crappy as this economy is, that might be a product that might give Yamaha a few more sales than they will get from the R6/R1

R7

I signed up a while ago in the FZ8 newsletter and here's the first email/update:
Quote:
Dear adam,

Welcome to the first official FZ8 News.

Back in November we released the headlight shot of the FZ8. Today the surprises keep on coming as we reveal a detail of the FZ8 Fazer. Yes, you read that correctly. The FZ8 will also be available in faired version with the same outstanding performance for an exhilarating riding experience.

More news on both FZ8 and FZ8 Fazer will be revealed on March 12th, 2010 and will be delivered directly to your inbox!

The countdown has begun.

Till then,

Yamaha
