Obama awarded 2009 Nobel Peace Prize?

What exactly has he done to deserve this award ? He hasn't done anything yet except talking. I was surprised about this decision that's clearly political in motivation. What the hell had he done in his first few days in office (as nominations were due just days after his inauguration) that makes him deserve it over the people who have risked their lives to help humanity? Seriously, there was 204 other nominees, and Obama win because of his "visions?"

I think it's funny how everyone got all uptight about Obama winning the NPP and yet when Al Gore won it, it was no big deal. At least Obama seems to want to pull the country together, what did Al Gore do? (if you say watch the global warning video then I see a :buttkick: in your future
