I am torn between the Yamaha FZ8 And the Aprilia Shiver 750. I am worried about getting into something that parts are going to be hard to get...
The dealership by me State 8 Motorcycles has both of them sitting next to each other. They have a 2011 and a the 2012 FZ8 and the Shiver is a new 2009... Any comments or helpful pointers? |

I just picked up a 2011 FZ8 a few weeks ago. My selection was between the FZ8 and a Triumph Street Triple. It came down to price and cost of maintenance.
I can tell you that any European bike is going to cost more when it comes to maintenance due to more expensive parts and less people that know how to work on them. Aprillia's and Triumph's are awesome machines, but you have to be willing to fork out the money for them. Hope that helps. |
