I have a 1998 Exciter270 jet boat, I have removed the auto oil injection due to an oil pump failing (by the advise of a really good Yamaha mechanic) now mix the fuel 50:1. Was working great but now my right engine is cutting out after about 2 hrs of running. Before my last trip out this past weekend I had installed new plugs and leaned the carb's some, it ran smooth as silk for about 2hrs. and then started cutting out. I pulled the plugs and found the # 1 plug gas fouled and the other 2 were so..so, would changing the heat range help?
