Default 2002 outboard 250 problem

Ok, so I have a 2002 triton with a 250hp yamaha two stroke with the high pressure direct injection motor. My problem is when running at half to full speed the motor cuts out. It happens so quick that when I had a service tech look at it the fist time it happen to him he questioned if it did. I seems to happen when running and a little choppy out. He ran it for an hour and it happened three times. No back fire no smoke just cuts in and out realy fast. I did shake any loose wires and could not get it to happen again. The boat did sit for a couple years covered and did not run. Not sure if it was winterized correctly before it sat. I understand that the fuel pump runs at like 600psi not sure if the presure dropped if this could cause it to cut out this fast. The service tech said it needs to fail more to fix it. I hate the idea of it not running correctly. Thanks Dan
