Considering Upgrade to R1

Hi there- I'm new to the forum & am considering upgrading to a new '09 R1 and could use some advice. First, I currently have an '09 FZ6R, nice bike for a newbie & I've been riding for just over a year w about 1500 logged.

How hard is the transition to R1?

What factory items should be swapped out?

What else should I consider?
