85 yfm200n problems firing

i have a 85 yfm200n that i cannot get to fire... i have checked the CDI and the Starter and i know they work because i can remove the spark plug and pour gas directly into the engine, but once that runs out it will not take any more gas from the tank... it will just stall out, the carburetor has been taken apart and cleaned and it is still not taking fuel. If anyone can tell me anything else that could be done to fix this please let me know! Thanks.
