Ran on one cylinder.....checked spark both had spark but one side was weaker so I ordered new coil as instructed. put new coil on....no spark....checked stator and magneto and it was caked with dirt and rust. pulled them off and cleaned them up and did oms test on stator (176) was the only reading I got. put back on and still no spark. Coil tests good. have no Idea what is going on coil has a orange and a black wire conected to it. is the orange wire on the left or right abd what else should I check. can anyone help?

it dont matter where the orange / black wires from the harness as long as they are connected to the coil they will work ether way. make sure you clean the rust / dirt / new paint off the frame where the coil mounts. if you dont you could have no spark / weak spark.
