I've read in a few places that staying upright and pushing the bike under is a technique originating from dirt [Only registered can see links. ] and that it doesn't really apply to the street. Come to think of it, doing this in a corner would produce increased lean angles for a given cornering speed. This is probably the opposite to what you'd want to achieve. I suppose the whole idea of being closer to the ground is to reduce a lean angle in corners. I tend to do what you do when I need to avoid an obstacle. But for just turning in corners you'd probably want to be leaning at least as much as the bike does. Does this sound reasonable?
