04 - 06 R1 motor needed !!

so last year my 2004 r1 dropped a valve... disaster. there was enough damage done that i was told it would be better money wise to get another motor. that is exactly what ive been trying to do. i am trying to save as much money as possible therefore i wanted to check out the forums and see if there was anyone on here getting rid of a motor. any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

I don't know of anybody that has one but will keep an ear open and let you know if I do!

Just looked on Ebay there are some on there but they are in the $1,500- $2,200 range

There was one for $950 and a few for around $1200 when I was saving up so I would hope to find one cheaper than eBay listing right now. I do check everyday though. Thanks I appreciate the help though.

So thanks to a member on here I was able to locate a motor. Unfortunately I'm just a standard member of r1-forum.com so I can't even talk to the seller. Would anyone with a membership there mind sending my email to that individual? It would be greatly appreciated!
