1982 XJ650L Seca Turbo
I have acquired a Seca Turbo, been in a barn for ten plus years, prior owner filled crankcase to top with oil when parked. I cleaned carbs and drained oil, have turbo boost pipe loose to intake at moment, Started and blew oil out of turbo, now cleared out. Issues is such a weak spark on plugs you can hardly see it, have to use carb cleaner in intake to get fired off to run. All wire plugs have been cleaned and coated with dielectric grease.
How do I determine if it is the cdi ignitor box or coil issues. All cylinders have weak fire. Leans to cdi box, unless other has part in problem.
Been investigating this bike, The turbo does not spool up much. Found a actuator on it and it controls a butterfly valve in the turbo's exhaust. it is stuck. Wont move. All bolts are so rusted the removal to work on seems impossible.
