1976 XS500C oil and air filters

i was wondering if anyone has any information on purchasing replacement oil and air filters for a 1976 xs500c? i was also wondering if the C denotes anything that would stop parts labeled only for an "xs500" from fitting? thanks for any info! my bike runs really well but it's time i took care of some things that need tending to, some of the basics that i haven't fixed since purchasing the bike.

Several people on Ebay selling XS500 filters. Speed and Sport in California also has a very good selection of parts for the Xs500. A Yamaha dealer will have only a very few parts that are common to other models. The C designates a 1976 model. D='77, E= '78.
There are many resources and knowledgable people at the TX/XS500 forum.
